The project is taking the state of California’s court systems and law enforcement agencies data and putting them into one centralized repository. My job is designing and building the public facing web sites. This is where my skills as a web designer, UI, graphics and developer come into use. At this moment, I’m wearing the hat of the web developer. As web developer, all my code (HTML, CSS) is being validated through W3C. Also, the web sites are cross compatible with IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera and Safari.
Before the development stage I used an application called iRise to build wireframes that we used for JAD sessions with the clients. Basically, iRise gives the client a simulation of how the web site will work before we actually build it with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
